How big is it sp blue are a dwarf sp so don't get big. Sp blue 2 get bigger more normal t size 5/6 inch , or as a total curve ball it could be a thrixopelma lagunas. You won't really know for sure till you can check the spermatheca for reference.
Eg I bought a sp blue 2 a few months ago turns out when she moulted she was a Euathlus truculentus sp blue. You never know for sure till u can check spermatheca for females or the bulbs for a male.
Hope that helps not hinders
and where do i get pictures of the spermatheca and reference pics of the spermatheca? It's like I get there are variables and all but we have to just take someones word that a spider is a certain species and hope for the best? that seems rather not cool, being new to the hobby it just seems wrong to do business like that no?

Some t's are misidentified it's not an on purpose thing it's just something that inevitably happens with thousands of sp that look similar in the hobby or happens alot in chain pet stores but again they label it as they are told its not any one persons fault.
Once your t moults you will be able to look at the inside of the flap on the underneath of the abdomen then if female and over 2 inch you should see the spermatheca and if you type into Google pics your sp with female moult eg homoeomma sp blue female moult and compare them that's what I did. You can also take a pic and post on here n ppl will help they did with mine.
A phone macro lens may also help with getting a better pic of the spermatheca on smaller t's. I hope that helps. I have only been keeping 16 months myself so not an expert

thanks for all the information. I mean while I understand that T's are all different species and also different tempraments even within the particular species I was going to buy this T based on recommendation of Tom Moran's video on Homoeomma sp Blue Peru or Blue Peru 2 and was hoping someone could weight in on whether or not this is the case?

Yes they are ment to be quite chilled but also remember homoeomma also have a good food response and not all homoeomma are as chilled as Tom's. I have a homoeomma peruvianum that's about 1cm n she's so food motivated even if she has just been fed she will attack my fingers through the plastic as I put her bk on the shelf, I find it adorable but others might not lol, but if u are looking for a cute escape artist that loves their food can't go wrong with homoeomma
