    You have to be careful with this genus, because males can have very prominent sexual organs. I'm pretty confident that this is female, though. I think my other individual is male.

    This girl is in desperate need of a moult. She has rubbed the setae off her carapace and she is looking almost as bald as my mature males after not moulting for years. She's still happily eating, though. I guess a moult isn't in the cards yet.

    Whichever species she ends up being, she sure is gorgeous. I'm not big on blue tarantulas, but I have really fallen in love with my girls since they have developed their adult markings. I can't wait to see them full grown.
