Whoa, seriously? Did it just hobble along? What did it look like taking down prey?

It didn't move too much...lol, but it could hobble along. It wasn't offered the chance for a takedown. It ate a mealie piece and a dead cricket, then molted.

It was one that had a bad molt and I had to save it, I could only save those 2 legs and the palps.

Other than a tarantula losing all legs, that's the worst I've seen. Was it just stuck in the exuvia, or...?

yes, it was its first molt, so it was teeny. I am posting an update of the little one in a minute...while most of its siblings are 4th or even 5th instar, its just now 3rd.

matured years ago...fathered a sac and is long gone by now.
