L. Reclusa female with slings. The other 3 were clambering to climb up my hand holding the egg carton. As long as I have a free camera hand. Lost about 10 to cannibalism, ended up with 14 slings. She couldn't have cared less that I was brushing her brood into other containers.
They are amazing at sniffing out bugs and their frass. If you are keeping them outside then you probably wont be able to stop opportunistic predators. If you keep them inside you can put a thin strip of packing tape with Vaseline on the outer rim. When it needs to be changed you can just rip off the tape.
