Barychelidae are one of few native Aussie genus that can be found in other countries. Also one of the only non tarantula primitive spider families that can stridulate and climb smooth surfaces competently
The cf. is used when the species needs to be checked. It looks like a N. aureus but it cant be confirmed without a proper analysis, basically. Cf. means confer.
