This one looks like a male to me - that little cowlick in the center of the furrow seems like it may be epiandrous fusillae.

Thanks! That was my first guess, also because of the darker color there... do these darken up much in that area for males?
I think the furrow looking like "lips" was throwing me off. Maybe I'll be able to get a clearer pic another day, or a molt soon, but this one has the typical boehmei attitude I've read about!
 
I posted this pic of my B. emilia male a while back just as an example of epiandrous fusillae in male Brachypelma species. My male boehmei looks almost identical. Similar to yours, I think.
Ohhh I see it now! I definitely am thinking mines a male, then. Fingers crossed for the next molt but yeah, looks very much like that.
