This little baby has been growing well and eating and digging like a maniac, so I rehoused it from a 1oz condiment cup into a dram vial yesterday. It hasn't quite settled in yet, but I was able to grab a snapshot of it where I can see the urticating hair patches, which is cool.
I knew, even with just seeing the little thumbnail photo, that it was going to be a Bistriopelma. Those adorable double urticating hair patches are barely visible.
I am so freakin' jealous.

I want you to have one! I'm tempted to get another, to be honest. I am in love with this little beast! It's a great eater and the burrows it digs are amazing.
I hope it settle in soon. I felt bad digging it up, but it just kept displacing dirt and covering up all of the vent holes so I figured it was time for more room.
