This sling caught me unawares by molting out of sight even though I've specifically been on the lookout for it molting. It's proved to be one of my best feeders (actually stalking the crickets here), and I'll probably add another to my collection soon.
misting is ineffective, its ok for offering a drink, and because its effects only last about 20 minutes, its not going to hurt anything, but for husbandry, its always best to just pour water onto the substrate....by pouring at the edges, you can watch it seep down...and the deeper sub is what you want dampened, the surface isnt as important... Psalmos are great, because they can be kept darn near any way you like..theyre just so adaptable.
I am aware of this-this is why I aim at the substrate or otherwise get the water to run off into the substrate. I also have a syringe I find more useful for watering sling enclosures, but it lacks the reach for my larger enclosures and in this case using it would involve fully opening the lid and wrecking the webbing.
I do have deeper substrate for most of my sling enclosures, but this one's being kept in the deli it came with due to the fact it had already webbed up the lid from the start and then went into premolt a few weeks afterwards. Now that it's molted it's a priority for a rehouse as soon as it bulks up.
