B. hamorii 2-28-20
Couldn't resist adding the hobby staple to the collection. Got it as a free order upgrade from a B. vagans, and I think I won out personally. Love this little one, looking forward to watching it grow.
Adorable. No photos can prepare you for how stunning they look in the flesh either
I'm just amazed with this tarantula. She molted once, and is showing more of her adult colors, and no longer spends all day under her hide, she's always out and about.
I love how their personalities can change molt to molt. I was going to drop a cockroach in her enclosure and she sprung up and yoinked it right off my tongs, meanwhile before she wouldn't eat live prey.

I have a juvi and it recently moulted. It can be quite grumpy. I've had a couple of threat postures doing maintenance when it was in premoult, though its definitely more of the scared/defensive variety haha
Definitely one of my favourites though. Can't imagine not having a hamorri in my collection.
Got a smithi too that was imported from Mexican breeders, but that one is a tiny sling (and will be for a very long time) lol
