It could be female, but the angle is wrong to be sure. You need to take a pic where the tarantual is not bending away from the camera, but where you see the important region straight on. With this pic it's only guess work.
@MissHarlen Not really. If you reallly, really, really want to know you can take it out of it's enclosure and put it in a clear box and then take pics through that box.
