Ham n Cheese bought as a Homoeomma sp blue Peru 2 but after her moult (first in atleast a year with info I was given) I posted her moult pic n her n was told she's not a sp blue Peru 2 but a euathlus truculentus. Can anyone help with this? This pic was took today moult pic is in Homoeomma file.
Here's the conversation that has already been had about this same specimen, I believe. Hopefully helps clear things up.


The spermathecae do look like E. truculentus that are shown in the thread.

Yes that's her n my SO haha that's who I commandeered her off 😆 thank you for linking me 😊 n glad others are agreeing she's a euathlus n not a ap blue, I have been saying she isn't since I got her n her head was green not blue. Either ways she's gorgeous n I love her but good to know 😊 Thank you 😊

Euathlus truculentus have been in the hobby quite awhile now and they have been previously sold under different names, such as "Euathlus pulcherrimaklaasi" and "Euathlus sp. Blue". The latter having potential for easy mislabel?

Thanks you, I have been reading up on them 😊 even found a vid from birdspidersCH of euathlus truculentus blue form in the wild , between that n her spermatheca I am more than sure she is a Euathlus truculentus now. I am totally besotted with her n have made it my mission to find out all i can 😊 so thanks for any info it all helps 😀
