anyone have any idea what species of latrodectus this o: i found it thinking it was a good ol fashioned western till i notcied its firey wings ??
I disagree with Steatoda, this screams Latrodectus to me.

Given you're in LA, she is almost certainly L. hesperus. I bet after her next moult she will lose what's left of those white markings.

I seee she is small so it must be that then 🤔 was hoping shed keep them forever lol

Your next mission, should you accept it:
1. Find a male of the same species to propagate this species
2. Release them back into whence they came. Let them eliminate any gross cricket species that exist near your home.
3: Give it the best life it could possibly imagine. Let it have an awesome life.
