Theraphosa blondi 5.5in LS
Sorry. Technical difficulties. So my Theraphosa Blondi molted for the first time almost a week ago while I was away for the weekend. I've had him for about 3 months. It took about 3 days to get the molt out of the container since it molted in it's hut. I had to wait for him to kick it out. The abdomen was very mangled. I delicately moistened it and spread it out and this is what got. Shew. Tedious process. I was thinking female by ventral sexing, now I'm leaning male. This is my first time even trying to sex a tarantula. Lol

I just dried it a little (got carried away with soapy water) and was able to find a definitive flap with a toothpick.😊 Thank you!!!
