Reference pics for this species, as there's only one example of a female that I could find. Looks pretty much like any other Avic at this size, though... And yes, that's her post-molt booty!
I had a male and female - mature on both. As adults to me they aren't that pretty. IF they remained the color above that would be great, but they don't. They are pretty drab for an Avic. In fact they look smooth actually. But decent sized

Thanks for the info! I like the look of the almost black abdomen that they have, it just appeals to me for some reason. I have a pair to grow up, haven't sexed the second one yet. They have grown relatively quickly so far, which is nice!
