That is the common colour of them over hereIf the spider is A. diadematus, it is one with a weird coloration.
I was about to say. I found one out of a web here, the Asian version of Araneus. Typical diadematus shape but it got misplaced in the factory and went through the Green Lynx paint department. Showed it to an entomologist who asked to keep it as it was such an extreme of color variation. Electric green with black and gold pin striping.That is the common colour of them over here
