Pseudosphinx tetrio caterpillar as feeder?

Thanks for your replies. Guess I'll stick to the classics.
Seems wise to keep your Ts safe. Unfortunately your caterpillar also displays some "warning" type colors and patterns to advertise to predators of potential toxins, which could harm your collection

I did more research. Turns out this caterpillar isn't poisonous but it's got a nasty bite when bothered. I'm not risking it with my tarantulas.
Ah just saw this, looks like you have it figured out. Think you will capture the caterpillar to watch it pupate?:D

No I won't. I'll let it decimate our garden with its peers...

Is it "night butterfly" or "moth" ?

Wow, no need to keep one captive then if they are so plentiful :wideyed: and large. Although I am a bit envious, nothing that large around here. Sorry about the garden:embarrassed:
