I think the misting caused mold or mildew and caused the little guy to stress out and ultimatly kill himself from those falls sorry man its a terrible loss

so sorry to hear you lost him, well there could be different factors why this happened, one I can think of is poisoning, since you re-housed him, did you make sure the container, the water and specially the substrate are all free from harmful chemicals, pesticides or fertilizers that could harm a Tarantula?

Just one thing in the video, for me your substrate are to moist.
I have four off these guy and i never moist the substrade. They are really healthy
