At Last some success

I got myself a new male to mate with my females. Unlike the previous two males this one has actually payed off. Both females were up for it. I only mated 2 of my female s as I thin female 3 is a little small

here are some pics

Female 1 this is the biggest of the females

Second pic you can't see much but I could see them at it through the side of the jar. looked like he got two good insertions

Female 2 a slightly smaller female but still mated ok.

This one was mated today a couple of hours ago.

Stromatopelma males look similar apparently so I'll not blame you for getting confused Anyway just gotta keep my fingers crossed for some sacs now

Guy's site shows an easy diffence between the two here >S.cal< and >H.mac< were Stromatopelma has velvet black H.mac as brown see on G's pic's.

This little guy belongs to shogun804, and he'll be paired with my adult female once he matures He's still a wee thing though, but ya never know! He could mature with the next molt

Edit: just measured him, and from front right to back right he is a tiny bit over 2". And from front right to back left he is exactly 2 1/2".

It was time for a cage cleaning due to a bit of mold growing on his "tree", so I figured id snap some pics real quick

He's in definite need of a molt, should be soon!
