Awesome spider. I have a 2" male who I got when he was about 0.5", and I really want more. Great eater (bottomless pit), good webber, lovely colours, fast but mine isn't any more nervous than most my other spiders. Can't fault a GBB

I have a three and half-inch female that is raving lunatic. She attacks anything that come near her -including my hand. She tries to get at me through her enclosure - reminds me of a wolf spider.

I've tried to handle her, but she overturned her waterdish once and slapped my hand when I tried to put it right.

But she is GORGEOUS and webs up the enclosure beautifully, and she's always out in the open.

I think she was Leona Helmsley in her former life.
