You don't need to feed live prey, so you can cut oversized prey in half and give it to them.

I give some of my other slings prekilled crickets. I probably will with these guys too.

Avics can be absolute beasts when tackling prey. I’ve seen my A. avicularia jump to tackle a large roach, and fell to the bottom wrestling it.

Thats pretty cool. I pulled the head off a large cricket and gsve it to my g pulchripes sling. It jumped right on it but it kept kicking him/her off. After getting kicked off over and over it actually gave the headless cricket a threat display for about 5 min before it stopped. First time a tarantula made me laugh

It's a great species to keep & gets more awesome looking with each molt.
