Coming soon....
0.0.1 P. victori
0.0.1 B. auratum
0.0.1 Pseudhapalopus sp. blue
0.0.1 H. longipes
All tiny slings. I'm very excited! A couple more perma-babies to join the A. moderatum and brachy slings I'm already working on. 😊😂 If they stay small forever the partner can't complain about taking up too much space, right? Plus a couple faster ones to keep me entertained in the meantime. Gotta keep things balanced, right?

They're both gorgeous, but especially the male. He looks both fierce and ridiculously cute simultaneously. Floof alert!
Lol male Phormingochilus spp tend to be spastic terrors if you ever have to work with them. Had to separate a MM Akcaya from an overnight cohab situation with a female this morning and I could only cup it after it had bounced off the walls enough and ended up on it's back. Works better than coffee :shifty: .....

Pairing was successful though :).

The shipment I've been waiting for since the start of February came today, and it's pretty exciting! Included were (this might have to be broken into 2 parts):

0.0.3 Acanthogonatus pissi (non-tarantula mygalomorph from the nemesiid family, found in Chile)
1000019851.jpg
1000019896.jpg
Freshly molted specimen
1000019845.jpg

0.0.2 Lyrognathus giannisposatoi
1000019818.jpg
1000019821.jpg

0.0.2 Cyriopagopus albostriatus "ratchaburi"
1000019827.jpg
1000019833.jpg

0.0.3 Psalmopoeus langenbucheri
1000019943.jpg
1000019842.jpg
1000019839.jpg

0.0.1 Theraphosidae sp. Colombia

Also included but not pictured (because they were too small for my camera to focus on them even with the macro setting on):

0.0.2 Cyriocosmus sp. Oronegro
0.0.1 Cyriocosmus elegans

To be continued...

These ^^ all look very similar right now, so it's going to be interesting to see how they develop differently as they grow.

I also got:

Well, that's an easy problem to solve. Get a new shelf (or build a spider annex  ).

first attempt at a fun thread.. ;)

picked up some new spiders recently, namely my A aurantiaca and i'm planning on getting some more next week. 2 1" P cancerides, 1 3/4" A sp columbia and 1 3" 0.1 Nhandu tripepi.

very excited for the N tripepi, I've been interested in one for a little while and am ecstatic at finding a female for a good price.

this is meant to be a sort of who molted today kind of thread, lets see if we can make it go anywhere.. post whatever new additions youve got incoming or recently acquired below :)
Got a confirmed female Brachypelma Emilia at a reptile show on the 17th. Despite what the breeder said, to my delight, she's turned out to be quite docile and hasn't assaulted me with hairs as Brachys are often known for. Overall she's beautiful and I'm so glad I finally got one!
I've wanted this species for quite a long while.
