Yeah I have observed this many times with this species as well along with others in the genus. That's why I like to setup a larger container for breeding than the female would have if she was just in there on her own. The only Poecilotheria species I don't let cohabitate is P. ornata.
Yeah that's pretty accurate. The Chilobrachys will web a lot more than the Haplopelma though and it will be thicker (whiter in color). Other than that keep them the same they both like to burrow and require high humidity.

Yeah I don't think very many people care for this species. The price on it has dropped dramatically these past few years and you just don't ever hear anybody mention it.
My favorites are P. subfusca and P. rufilata...P. ornata in 3rd place.
