Just curious. If one snake had the most variable morphs possible- aside from ball pythons- it'd have to be the first domestic snake, Pantherophis guttatus. So since I'm currently obsessing over them, although they are a cheap-o trash snake nowadays, I'd thought I'd ask. After all, (one reason I like them) there's pretty much a special corn snake morph out there for everyone!
I'm thinking my favorite morphs would be the butter corn snake, the blizzard corn snake, as well as the simple anerythristic corn snake.
Mmm, butter corn...
:sarcasm:

Seems my investment snake- should I want to breed my fav morphs- would be to get an albino.

I'm also against breeding scale-less corn snakes. To me, those aren't a morph but a deformity.

I don't think they're a "trash" snake by any means. I love my corn snakes. They're easy keepers, pretty to look at and super friendly. They may not be "exotic" or expensive, but they're on of the best ambassadors to the world of snake-keeping.

That being said, I'm very fond of the palmetto.

1. The "Devil's Garden" corns someone was posting on ks.com a year ago- I haven't checked to see if they're still being posted.
2. Normals. My normal is one of the prettiest snakes I've owned.
3. Miami.
4. Butters.
5. Silver Queens (I think that's what they're called....)

I don't think they're trash snakes, either- they're very easy keepers that almost anyone has room for.

I like the really good quality plasmas and bloodreds, ones with full diffusion of pattern, so that the color is rich and uniform. I also adore the striped butters and amels, for their brilliant colors and shadings.

I like colubrids better than pythons; they're more active and interesting to watch! All my snakes are colubrids -- corns, rats and kings!

Honestly my favorite is just the normal color pattern. There are alot of nice morphs but what nature creates is the best of all.

I love the Blizzard and Snow corns. Something about a white snake (no not the band) just does it for me.

I like Okeetee, Butter, Caramel and Anery. And there is some diffused something or other that I really like the look of.

My favorite would be the Palmetto, they're "only" $4000 and certainly not trash:

I saw the first of this morph at a reptile show in Columbia, SC, several years ago. It was actually a wild-caught snake collected in a neighboring county. The two guys who'd found it said that they were going to try to breed it and see how the morph worked, if it was dom or recessive or what.

For my personal tastes, though, you can't beat a nice normal South Carolina Coastal Plains Corn, and that includes the Okeetee types. I catch quite a few real "screamers" each year.

I currently own a male diffused bloodred and a female motely stripe sunglow... that sunglow is absolutely STUNNING! Almost neon! She's also under a year old... so We'll see how she looks in the coming years.

I honestly never thought id own corns before getting my bloodred.. and I will say he is not my fave morph by any means.
He is however an easy to care for snake who never misses a meal, and very personable and relaxed when kids handle him

I love any striped or tesserra corns. I also love blizzards and snow.
