Your milk snake is probably a year or 2 years old. They will eat other snakes, as well as lizards, small mammals, and just about anything else they can overpower and eat. As a pet, I would get it eating frozen thawed mice of appropriate size. I would not say that they love to swim, however they do need a supply of water at all times. Depending on the subspecies, it will probably grow from 2 to 3 feet in length. Hope that helps.

All snakes can swim. They're not really hardcore about it though. Milks only swim when they need to(like say a flood).

and we need to know what kind of milk snake to estimate a size. Like Viejo said, it'll probably be around 2-3 feet though. some, like hondurans, reach lengths of 4-6 feet

It helps to know what kind of milk snake you are talking about...there are many different species that occur over a large range with different reqirements. In the future, it's best to find out about the animal before you get it.

Good luck with your new snake.
