My first T in january 2009 was a subadult G.rosea. When I shakily brought him home I thought he was huge. He has since grown and matured and now when I look at him compared to some of my other T's he looks so small lol.

Sheeyoot Welsh, your rosie grew in that time? I have an adult G. rosea who hasn't even eaten since Jan '09. Lol!

When you walk into my T room one of the first things you see is a nicely displayed 4" A. metallica. people say "Wow, that thing is huge!" Then I go ahead and show them the adult A metallica at 7" and they say "OMG that one is really huge!" Then I show them my adult Pampho sp. "Platyomma"...

people at the store i work for come in all the time and start going "Eww" or "ooOOoo" to some of the T's some even going "man look at that one its big" (pointing of course to the Avic avic set up we have) then i grab the ol' flash light and shine it in on our big 9.5" female blondi "Shelob" and peoples jaws just drop in amazement. its funny that once ur in the hobby u realize your concept of "big" gets a whole new definition.

Yep Moltar, sadly he has, and so has another of my roseas :( :(

On the upside though my MM's are eating and don't refuse food.

Haha my case here is pretty similar xD
So many people thinks my 3.5" A.genic is huge. That being said, I was told that my 1.5" G.pulchra is a big spider too...
They will probably faint when all my Ts grows up..

If you think about it, the biggest spider the general public most likely will see is a house spider that maxes out at ~1" so when they see our babies, they are just astonished!

Haha, my friends and family think my G.Rosea and H.Lividumm are big being around the 5" mark each, wonder what reaction I will get when the P.Regalis, and C.Crawshayi hit their potential?

I can't wait til my LP is at its largest! People thought it was massive at the 3.5" mark.. then I tell them it will be 3 times that size

lucky.
mine dont pay much attention unless i dirty the floor or something.
Haha sometimes that's the case too but I tend to keep my reptile room quite neat anyways so they hardly complain. I usually do complete cleanings (sweeping, vacuuming, tidying, mopping if necessay) every 1-2 weeks just to keep things in order and looking nice. I've even modified my feeder tubs to have holes on the side so that I could stack the tubs instead of having them just on the floor. This save a looooot of space.

I'd like to keep mine in my room but the space heater I use is 20+ years old and makes all these weird noises!

I actually still need to tidy up my reptile room some more. There's one corner where I just shoved a lot of junk into.

Eventually when my LP is full grown, I'm going to put it in a 20gal long so I'll need to make more room and buy another rack
