Xenodendrophila male pics

Hi
Here are some pix of Xenodendrophila gabrieli male the top pic is a female, the pics below are a mature male, my 1st observations are the lack of tibial spurs and the fringe down the sides of the palps.
We have already mated one female with 3 or 4 others to mate. just thought I'd share the pics as not many will have seen a male.

Xenodendrophila comes from three words Xeno = Foreign or odd and Dendro = tree or trees and last Phila = love or to love and it's species name is a patronym from Ray Gabriel well known spider bloke (if your this side of the pond).

Nice to see you got them mated phil :) Did i mention i will be over at the end of Feb and if they they are not ready then, ill be back in may LOL :D {D

... what do you mean! Last time I checked I was living in Canada! :)

Here is a male of mine... will try mating the first female next week, although my females are a little small... we shall see...

But martin, they arent' REALLY in Canada yet, as we (the commoners) do not have access to these yet. maybe some day.
