Yes, those are chaemeras (spelling) i read as much as i could on them. The spines on the back are highly poisonous, and can inflict some major pain. Some people get them stuck in "sablefish" traps.

Some of my favorites were the black swallower,angler fish male,hagfish, and the chimera was cool too.

I've seen a lot of ugly fish photos, but that one is a real contender.

The goblin shark looks as if it lost flesh from it's face and mouth (even though it didnt), if it had this I would imagine it would look like a common shark.
