First I would like to say that I work at a reptile specialty store and have experiance working with monitors. On top of that I dont pay for feeders so that is not an issue here.
I recently decided to pick up a second black rough-necked monitor to pair up with the one that I already own. (dont know either ones sex as they are still smaller. Its really kinda just an excuse to get another one) I talked to the manager of our store and he told me that I could take another rough-neck for basically free if (and here is the catch) I aslo take the 1 and a half foot baby nile monitor that someone dropped of at our store. The deal only counts if I keep the nile and raise it up.
I know all the issues that come along with owning a nile. They get big, mean and dirty, which is why we can't and wont sell it. I more or less just want to know what everyone else would do in this situation.
Thanks
Marc
