I have not seen one of them in years. Use to find them all the time when I was a kid. Neat animals. Good idea to let it go John.

This is the first one i have ever seen. I have known they existed since i was a little kid. Yeah wc reptiles just dont fare well. So he is being let go as soon as i get outside.

That is amazingly cool! It really looks like a worm, except the size and the head.

In the country I found two garter snakes (I think that's what they are, found in the Catskills) and actually caught one! I wish I could have a snake (or a dozen) but the ones I like (ball python mainly) need too much space and the smaller ones (rubber snake, kenyan sand boa) are harder to find, more expensive, and not really what I'm looking for.

Anyway, very cool animal and it's good you're releasing it.

Thanks. Ah that sucks. I was really thinking of keeping this one, but decided not to. Figured it would be better off in the wild. Wild caught reptiles are hard to keep thriving.
