what makes you say that?DR zuum said:It should be fairly easy to tank raise them.
I think because they seem to thrive on "neglect". That is, in highly acidic water....like that of a neglected tank.heyjeyniceid said:what makes you say that?
I thought that too......and then the guy says "It's not like you wake up and think you're going to discover the smallest fish in the world".......psssssssshhhhh yeah right.....He wanted to find the smallest fish in the world when he woke up that morning...why else would he check to see if it was a record? :?cacoseraph said:hmmm
they say that the previous record holder was only 1/10 of a MILLIMETER longer
i wonder how they can make that determination with any degree of accuracy?
like, is that the average size of the first 100 collected... or what?
this is what I had thought, not so easy. Not to mention their diet. They may be highly specialized.dtknow said:Doubt it. Ph 3-4 and peat stained water isn't that simple to maintain in captivity...they would probably require RO water filtered through peat at the least. Some gouramis that live in the same habitat(larger pools in peat bogs) are quite difficult in captivity...but it can be done.
