My rosie finally molted!!

Ive had her for some time now (several years) and was quite worried about this, but when I got up this morning, she was on her back, and when I got home from work, there was the molt, and she was sitting there, just as pretty as can be.... Yay!

Her tank is in an upper shelf on my bookshelf (to keep the cats from noticing and getting to her) so Im hesitant to move the tank around to get a good pic of her right now... In a few days though, I hope to have some up. {D

I got some pics up of her.... Shes so pretty!! Im beginning to have doubts as to her femaleness, mostly because of the way shes shaped..... The people I got her from said she was sexed, but they also were complete morons about caring for her too. Is there any way to make the molt less brittle, so I can open it up and see? She molted while I was at work, so I didnt get to it until long after it was no longer pliable.

So heres one of the three I put up.... http://www.arachnoboards.com/ab/gallery/showimage.php?i=8823&c=

easy peasy, If its not to dried out, I put mine on a paper towel and mist it with a spray bottle.
If its dry, just soak it awhile, you put a paper towel over the molt in a bowl of water deep enough to submerge it, weight it down gently with a spoon on top and leave it atleast an hour.

Then take it out put it on a paper towel (paper towel holds the tarsal claws good) and carefully spread the molt out to the position you want. I ball up pieces of paper towel under the legs to hold the position I want.

Also, a cool thing to do with a fresh molt is position the fangs out by putting a ball of paper towel under them and letting it dry that way.:)
