Well since I live in NC and NC is known to have wolf spiders. I am thinking about buying some vials and have hubby go catch them and maybe sell them. What do you think? We have a bunch of wolf spiders around here so finding them would be no problem. And on occassion find a Orb Weaver or 2 :)

Feel free to send me some of your extra wolfies. They're rather uncommon up here in WNY.

Unless I'm mistaken, I think wolf spiders are in Florida too.... Can someone post a pic of one? How defensive are wolfies and how toxic are they anyway?

Wolf spiders are common throught the US. I doubt there's enough people willing to pay for them to make the effort worthwhile, unless you can collect a decent number of H. carolina, which is hard enough to find (and big enough to be of interest) that you might find a market.

Sounds good to me, but... I don't have much to trade.

Oh wait, I find rather sizable Dolomedes tenebrosus, the largest fishing spider species, all the time. I could ship you plenty of those. I could probably find males, too, If I take a little time. I also occasionally get gigantic (4 inch) red and blue millipedes, if you like myriopods.

Sound good?
