I have a problem with my wolf spider. Everything was good, and she never denied food before. 1 month ago she decided to go down into her burrow and cover the top with dirt and a bit of webbing. Also, she wasnt eating, so i decided to let her be. 5 days ago i rehoused her in new enclosure and it turn out that the past month she was in pre-molt, and she molted in her new space. The thing is that after her molt she got in her burrow and covered the top again with dirt. I tried to fish her out, by gently poking her sealed burrow in order to feed her but she's doesnt show any interest. She is 1+ month without food now. Does anyone know why she does that and what should i do???? I would apreciate if anyone can help me with this situation.

This is spid behavior. Leave her ALONE. When she's ready she'll come out and eat.

Wolf spiders are known to go through periods of fasting. Keep her terrarium dry, but slightly humid. I would mist her once a week so she can drink if she chooses to do so. Once she removes the debris from the top of her burrow, she'll be ready to feed. Go easy on her though. Give her a dewinged green blow fly, and kind of drop it in a manner which it will venture towards the burrow. Hope this Helps!

I give her a ''water spray'' once a week. Is that ok??? I mean it is ok to spray or its better to throw a bit of water in all the sides of the enclosure?

I wouldn't imagine she likes being sprayed directly, but a gentle misting of the sides and substrate around her should be sufficient, actively avoiding getting her wet.
