Will the USDA ever make an exceptions list?

Is there anything we can do about this as hobbyist? It would be really great if there was such a list. Tropical phasmids & mantids come to mind.

What does everyone else think?

Are there any respectable scientists that would even agree with an exceptions list?

I just wanted to discuss this with everybody here on the forum. Also keep in mind that this is a public forum. So, try to refrain from bashing various agencies too much.

Nope...nothing we can do. They don't care enough to research, and the bug hobby wouldn't make enough taxes to pay for the research anyways.

I hear the butterfly farmers are making some progress in this regard...so they could be potential allies.

I am with EC on this one. They dont care enough to research. All they are worried about is getting tax dollars.
Sadly in this day and age its all about money.

They'd have to make an exceptions with exceptions list...because there will always be people prove why there IS a list of banned critters. :wall:
