Will my C versicolor be okay in the winter?

I acquired a C versicolor sling about 2 months ago. Temps in my room range from low 60s to low 70s I try to keep it as warm as possible howver I do not have control of thermostat. It’s been in premolt for about 2 weeks. I figured it would’ve molted by now but I think the less then ideal temps is preventing this. Is there anything I can do to make its enclosure warmer? I read having the right humidity is essential for this species that’s the main thing I’m worried about that and temps. What can I do to make it more suitable?

Temps too low

Do NOT read about humidity- you will kill it! You are clearly reading the wrong info

Also OP, here’s a link to the proper use of heat mats. Many prefer to use space heaters though.

Be careful about preventing dehydration. They need good ventilation and constant access to clean water. Some may not drink consistently from a water dish if it's on the ground. Gluing a container to a piece of cork bark is helpful. It can get extremely dry in the winter with the furnace running. Keep an eye on this if your tarantula is getting ready to molt.

I think its all been covered. You got all the solid advice you need.

more heat. With more heat, water bowls full at all times and some water droplets on webbing if it has any.

pictures of your enclosure would be very helpful.

its important because too much humidity is what kills them. Its usualy a result of poor ventilation and too much misting and damp substrate.

if you keep substrate dry and provide water bowls, you dont need to think about humidity.

thats also why we want enclosure pictures: to make sure you have adequare ventilation.

Depending on your setup the water dish alone will provide enough humidity, so I wouldn't worry too much about it unless your room it's extremely dry.

It's far more important to keep them well aerated, with plenty of airflow.

If your room is too dry, just keep the soil a bit moist, it will provide the needed humidity levels, simply let it dry in between, nothing else.

Appreciate the advice thank you. I think I’m good for the most part I was just worried about the temps Ik it’s to low rn I got a space heater so should be good I originally thought about doing that anyway like I said I don’t have control of the thermostat so it’s something I’ve been concerned about for my spiders I have a few tarantulas and jumping spiders all of them seem to be doing well. I read it can be hard keeping versicolor slings alive so I want to make sure I get things right
hes Currently in a vile like what you see slings sold in. I ordered a new enclosure that has proper cross ventilation and is a little bigger it’s kind of hard finding enclosures that are the right size since he’s still so small. Currently the webbing is to thick in his enclosure I can’t put anything in without destroying his web. I’ve been sprinkling a little bit of water on the top just enough to cover the entrance he seems to be doing okay with that I should be getting his new home within the next couple days

I’m also going to add dif substrate. The one he came with is terrible. It’s a weird mix of sand sticks and rocks. I planned on just putting a small amount of reptisoil/cocofiber if that’s good.

the humidity in So Cal gets down into single digits, 10s and 20s are quite common several periods a year. (Today 22%) My daughter has an C. versicolor female who I think just had her 12th birthday that has 2 water dishes (1 high, 1 low)
and other than soaking a corner, is all the humidity she receives in a well ventilated enclosure.

No it’s not ventilated enough. The vile she’s in doesn’t have cross ventilation I’m moving it into a dif enclosure when it comes in asap should be tmr. My other spiders enclosures are all cross ventilated she’s in this cheap little vile
