Will distilled water go bad?

I have a jug of distilled water for my G. rosea that has been sitting there for months. I refill her bowl as needed but the bjug is nowhere near empty. Would it be safe to use this water or should I get a new one?

personally i would say your fine so long as its not left open. i keep water left out for my fish tank topoffs. and the water is always the same perameters as when i put it in typically

no problem so if you let it sit and after 24hrs put a lid on it. or even buy the ones from the store with a lid in a milk jug, you should be set to go..

Good point vioer that didnt even cross my mind wasnt even reading the months.. mine sits for like 3 days at a time max xD

To answer the question, as long as there is a good lid on the container and you keep contaminants out, your distilled water will be good for a long time. Water is water, it doesn't really go bad in and of itself, it's contaminants that cause water to go bad.
