So, I caught a female jumping spider at my dad's place a few weeks back. She's been eating well, made a few hammocks around her enclosure, not sure if she was subadult or fully mature, as I only knew how to tell males and females apart by the pedipalps. Just before I went on a 3 day trip, I tossed a soldier fly larvae in her enclosure, figured she'll either eat it as is, or catch it when it matures as she's done before. I came back from my trip and she's now hiding in a THICK bunch of webbing. Thicker than my previous male did for molting. Honestly kind of panicking because I don't know if she's in there laying eggs and I'm not sure I'm ready to be a spider dad. (Side note, if it does end up being babies, are springtails okay for spiderlings? We have a huge problem with them in our bathroom) I can take pictures if needed I'm just out of the house right now and had a burning question.
