wierd things on pedipalps

So I purchased a 2.5" P.ornata today at a reptile show and just noticed these red bumps on each pedipalp and I want to make sure it is not parisites all resposes appreciated.

Sorry, you got duped. That's a mature male. I'd ask for my money back if I were you. It seems pretty small for a MM but it happens.

Eating isn't a sign of whether or not it's mature. They still eat. That structure on the palps is pretty distinctive. If you can't get your money back at least find him a girlfriend. You could do a 50/50 split with someone on here and get your money back selling the slings and do some good for the hobby. There's always an upside :)

Well thanks for all the help never had a MM before and it will be alright a friend has a female who could use some company

Wait a 2.5" MM ornata? Would it be possible to find one that small a girlfriend? Seems like the female might just take him for a snack right away at that size.

yea i ment body length ,sorry i didnt specify ,he has about a 4.25" leg span. Are you talking about the patches under the front legs those are bright green that is the only green. Also would he be able to mate now or not yet?

Can you get more pictures from the top of the spider and the ventral of the spider. I'm leaning towards it not being P. ornata.

I've had a number of MM ornata, and they've always been 6-7+".
