Conway you need to understand that to guarantee live delivery of a sling you must pay around $25 dollars..now figure that into the cost of what a pet store T costs. Also if we don't frequent our local pet stores and keep them in business then we have no place to buy crickets and such. Also most of the pet stores will lower the prices for good , regular customers.Originally posted by conway
why do you lot buy your t's or whatever from your petshops? i mena just look at all this on the net..you can get them for fractions of prices...but you still go and spend $30 on a sling! i thikn thats a rip-off!
i think its cruel to ship T's unless its the only option i can get what i want, plus add 20-30 bucks shipping and your paying alot more on the net then at a petshop think about it.Originally posted by conway

I agree with that to a degree, but after everything I've seen in pet stores that sell "exotics" and have uneducated staff who don't even know what the name of the critter in the tank is and are deathly afraid to come close to it, much less touch it. And after seeing WAY too many dead or half dead T's because the workers are too afraid to even put a hand in there to give them water....I'd rather aquire my T's from someone who knows them and at least isn't afraid to come into the same room with them. I'd rather pay a higher price for a T and know that I'm going to get it alive and healthy and have the option of returning it if it's not. Pet stores don't give refunds on dead animals.Originally posted by Jguy001
