I've had my Phidippus regius jumping spider for about two and a half months and so far its gone great, she feeds very well and has gone through all of her molts successfully and overall is very easy to care for until about a week and a half ago. For the past week and a half she has gone into a very weird state, she wont eat even though she has 2 wax moths and a fly inside her enclosure and has made a hammock that looks like shes molting even though shes not. I have been spraying the walls next to her enclosure and been making sure she has food to eat if she feels like it. I understand they can live without food for a couple weeks i'm just beginning feeling a bit worried about her. Any answers would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Do you mean she's now an adult by "has gone through all of her moults successfully" or just she's moulted fine whilst you've had her? As spiders grow premoult, moulting and being right after the moult takes longer.

Nothing to worry about.

How sure are you that it’s a female? If it is and she’s an adult, she could be laying an egg sack. Otherwise sounds like a normal molt.
