Just another rage post. I seriously hate reddit at this point. Gee, maybe it was dehydrated because you were keeping it on bone dry substrate with no ability to construct a burrow. What the hell is wrong with some people?

I want to add. "Im sorry I didnt know" isn't an excuse for this. Literally if you looked on WIKIPEDIA for 2 minutes you would see this genus (OP doesn't even know what genus means) gets constantly bombarded by monsoons. They're used to water and can survive for extended periods of time underwater, not huge, but several minutes and possibly longer. There is just no excuse for this, because within a couple minutes you could realize what the animal requires if you literally just used google. So are you too good to use google? You just know it all yourself?

Anither thing, on the reddit post you can see this person has intricate tattoos all along their fingers and they appear to be fresh. So they spend money to tattoo their hands, cosmetics, but don't give a crap if their animal is suffering and needs stuff.

I saw that one when it was posted. The soil appears so dry its cracked near the plastic hand decoration. I did make a reply (SchoonerBlue) but not sure if it showed up as I am not deemed 'qualified advice' on that board.

All those people make me mad, they dont do research and just buy stuff for what? For fun? Cause its a "cool pet"? I dont even know why they cant just research a bit. Most people dont deserve animals anyways

People suffer for their own stupidity and unpreparedness in all kinds of pursuits. Fine.
So sickening in our pursuit that it is the helpless animals who pay the price for the people's stupidity.
I bet many newcomers buying pet store scorpions imagine that they all live on scorching sand in some deep desert, because that's where they saw a cool-looking scorpion staged in an action movie.

I hope the aliens that conquer Earth and make us their pets are smart enough not to assume that we should be able to hibernate, estivate, photosynthesize our own nutrients, survive freeze-thaw cycles, eat carrion, or extract oxygen underwater through gills, just because many earthling life forms they've observed with their interstellar probes can do these things.
