Is it a Latrodectus sp. mature male? Looks kind of similar to the ones around here where I am. But I'm just taking guesses here.

If the abdomen has the signature arched hump profile of the Latrodectus.

Agree with Liquifin, seems to be Latrodectus male.
A male of Latrodectus mactans was my conclusion for the species just based on the species being common in North Texas where I am at. The markings and general palpal bulb shape is what made me think of the genus Latrodectus. I'm glad to see others came to the same conclusion for genus as I did though. It is a shame I found it dead and desiccated to the point the hourglass shape is so distorted. I keep finding dead male spiders in the strangest places around my house, but this is a first for a Latrodectus species and I'm super excited to see evidence that they are around. Hopefully the females will make an appearance one day.

I found this little dude dead and dried up in my kitchen today. I'm so excited that I want to make sure I'm seeing what I think I'm seeing. What do you all think it is?
Mature male Latrodectus mactans.
