White worms in water drops

So I checked my centipede container today to see in some water drops on the side, clusters of what appeared to be tiny white worms.

Has anyone experienced this before, and if so, whats up? I wiped them out with some paper towels, being very careful not to let them touch my hand. Am I in danger of having done that, and furthermore, is my centipede in danger? I'm kinda freaking out because I don't want to get sick

Well, two possible culprits are fly larvae or soil-dwelling nematodes. Both can be a bit annoying, and may signal a need to clean out the tank, but neither are very harmful to your or your pede in low numbers. I would change the substrate, but don't freak out too much over it. The big problem would be if you find worms in your pede's excrement, which would mean he has parasites. But, if they seem to be just in the sub, they're pretty much harmless; they're just eating your pede's leftovers.

Alright, well thats good. Or better, I guess. I just thought it was odd because they were in water droplets on the sides of the container. Literally suspended in air. I'll watch for the excrement though whenever I can get better look without digging around. Thanks
