White thing with yellow spot

I'm kind of an idiot when it comes to anything other than a millipede or tarantula, so what is that webbing in the corner with the yellow spot supposed to be? Anything? Nothing? This spider hasn't webbed at all since I got it a month ago. It is pretty much a flat piece of web except where some sand got attatched to the bottom.

Um I'll go WAY out on a limb and answer what I read to be your question :wall:

The webbing (in question) appears to be a hammock type eggsac. IMO

I agree. This is by no means a certainty, but it looks like it's an aborted attempt at making an egg sack.

kinda almost looks like one of those sperm webs that Ts make. Looks like it might have rubbed one out on the web there but I cant tell whether its a female or what...

"Aborted" as in she stopped making it prematurely or it went bad? That was my first guess too, but I didn't want to rule out a piece of toilet paper or a garbage can as a possibility.

Yup. Usually the process would have been finished within an hour. If left out in the open, the eggs would soon dessicate and die. Maybe she got disturbed and decided to abandon it half way through.
