White stinger?

I've had this emperor scorpion for about 3 months now and the tip has always been white. It wasn't until seeing more pictures of other emperors and doing more research that I realize it should be more reddish brown. Has anyone seen a white stinger? Is my scorpion injured? I don't think its white due to molting as I've had him for months. Any input would be appreciated.

Turns orange when its sub adult and red when adult usually

It becomes increasingly orange and then red as it reaches adulthood.
