i was looking in my OBT's tank today and i saw what looked to be small white balls, like eggs. i doubt they belong to the OBT. theres about 5 of them grouped together on the wall and they seem to be held up there by a clear glue. is this like a base point for the OBT's webbing? are they really eggs?
i also found something similar in the tank where i keep the wax worms, but they werent glued together. they were in that tight spot where the clear window of the kritter keaper meets the lid.

i had a fruit fly invasion in my house the other week, could that be it?

if it were T eggs, you'd have an eggsac and a very protective OBT ;)

can you snap a pic though?

i wish i could snap a pic, but whenever i take pics and host them, theyre usually too large a file
ive had them for a while now, so i guess no harm can come from them, maybe ill try to clean it off, thatd be smart

It'll be spider crap. I get it in mine a fair bit :/

I think that (this is my theory) the african spiders (and ones with requiring lower humidity) will have faeces with a more 'solid' viscosity to them; to save on water loss. Spiders with greater humidity requirements, i.e. the Avicularias do 'runny cack'

Your thoughts?

this doesnt look like a solid waste. my L.parahybana and B.smithi have white crust in their tanks, but the OBT doesnt. there is waste missing in her tank but then again, she hasnt been eating much.

Also going with the spider crap explanation. Many Ts (and defiler's theory is probably more or less right) have small bean/egg shaped nodules in a very small amount of clear liquid. I have seen it many, many times; nothing to worry about at all.

Those pics are spider crap. If you guys don't want to believe me and the others, have fun trying to ID it as something else.

If you're really that unsure, do the age old classic of 'If it tastes like chicken, it's spider crap!'
