Caught a whip scorpion today. I was sooooo stoked to see it under this coral rock in the pinelands (so. fl). It was my first encounter with this group.

what whipscorps are in south florida?

using google I just find the giant whip scorpion, Mastigoproctus giganteus (Uropygi).

this specimen has red pincers and a pinkish colored tall.

thanks

thanks,
