Probably common, but these are new to me. They are said to be as dangerous as a daddy-long-leg. Although they are not studied enough to be sure. .

sorry for the post, you misread it. By saying they are just as dangerous I meant to say they are just as harmless, that's how dangerous they are. Get it now?

The second pic is of an assassin spider. I don't believe they are closely related, relatively speaking. Their respective morphologies are very different.

I was thinking the same thing. The site where I read it from was probably highly inaccurate.

At least some of them are Argyrodes flagellum I think.

Awesome image! I have never seen a living specimen, only drawings.
It is in Archaeidae, looks like genus Archaea.
