I've always been very interested in keeping a whip scorpion, and recently found a myself on a website selling these amazing little critters! But before I purchase them, I would like to know what the requirements are for the whip scorpion, and it LOOKS like I might be getting a whipling (I think that's what the babies are called) so any information would be greatly appreciated! Google hasnt been much help so I was hoping to get some tips here!

Whip scorpions are great pets! What species do you have in mind though? Generally whip scorpions are kept similarly to other large arboreal arachnids. Just make sure you know the habitat of the animal and accordingly keep it: if it's an arid species use 75% red sand 25%coco fibre. If tropical just full coco or a mixture with potting soils and fibre. They like crevices they can squeeze into so provide corkbark or similar and generally they are decently simple to keep. This is a decent guide by tarantula collective . If your getting a small one enclosures generally don't need to be big, often a tall takeaway container (soup/cup type ) should do the trick with some air holes.
