Which team are you on?

Since both of them were out on display at the same time, which is pretty rare, I got curious to know what team would you guys pick if you had to pick one:

Team regalis or team hati hati?

It's funny how so many polls and discussions about most beautiful tarantula often make a point of disallowing a pokie option haha...because, obviously they are the prettiest ones around, hands down


100% regalis. Not that the other guy ain't half bad either, but if there is a pokie in the mix, it's like a cheat code and renders and vote pointless hehe


Or maybe I'm bias. regalis all day. Any day. It's less a discussion of if pokies are the best, and more a discussion of which pokie is the best amongst the best genus

I would say Regalis, it's amongst the "classics" OWs along with P. muticus, P. murinus and C. darlingi.

My P. ornata is still a teenager, but she's already got way more personality than my S. calceatum ever had. Never tried a hati hati.

I like all tarantulas so I can't choose a favorite, but there is something special about the arboreal tarantulas of southeast Asia.
